Precision Recall is a desktop software application that takes the concept of federated search - one of the hottest areas in search today - to the next level by allowing users to quickly query, research and archive vital content all from a variety of external sources and combining it with data from the users own machine or across the enterprise. Located in Mountain View, CA, the company was founded in 2002 is very early stage and pre-funding. Assignment: Accelent has supported Agent Software in a strategic advisory role during its pre-funding stage and has provided input into the business plan, positioning, messaging, communication strategy, product development, user interface design, business development, investment strategy, and public relations efforts.

With Bridgestream, Fortune 5000 companies easily manage rapidly changing environments, increase productivity with real-time capabilities, decrease the cost of managing privilege information, and support regulatory compliance. The company, founded in 2000, is funded by Hummer Winblad and Outlook Ventures and headquartered in San Francisco, CA. It was acquired by Oracle in October of 2007. Assignment: Interim VP of Marketing since January 2004 with a focus on positioning, messaging, and all strategic and tactical program execution.

Brightinfo.com provided solutions that powered the eMarketplace. The company's flagship product, vMerchant™, is a browser-based application that helps eMarketers attract and retain today's diverse range of customers through eMerchandising management -- a closed loop cycle of creating online branding and merchandising campaigns for products, content and services; personalizing each visitor's experience; and measuring results. BrightInfo was acquired by Annuncio in 2000 and Peoplesoft acquired Annuncio in 2001. Assignment: Interim VP of Marketing for four months to build programs to drive sales.

Founded in Singapore in 1995, ECnet's domain expertise in collaborative supply chain solutions spans nine countries and territories in the Asian market. Assignment: Strategic marketing project half-time over four months to re-position the company and help clarify marketing messages. Led strategic planning workshops to help build the business and operating plans.
Extricity
Extricity,™ Inc. was a provider of business-to-business (B2B) software application and infrastructure products that allow companies to manage the internal and external sharing of information and the execution of interactions among software applications and business partners over the Internet. Extricity refered to this exchange and management of information among groups of companies over the Internet as business-to-business relationship management, or B2BRM. Extricity's platform, which was based on XML, allowed diverse information systems and businesses to work together more effectively. Extricity was bought by Peregrine in 2001. Assignment: Led upgrade of Corp ID, Collateral, Web site and marketing programs for three months.
Go2ASP
Go2ASP supplies cost effective, hosted business solutions to small and medium businesses (SMB) by supplementing VAR accounting practices. Until now, enterprise level business applications have been economically prohibitive for the $400 Billion world wide SMB IT market. In 2004 fewer than 5% of SMBs were interested in ERP and CRM solutions. Today however, more than 20% of SMBs intend to implement an ERP or CRM solution. Go2Asp sees a significant opportunity to address the needs of hundreds of thousands of uniquely specialized customers by supplying scalable, hosted applications that enable accounting VARs to give SMBs the personal attention required. The company, located in Southern California, is privately held and has deep domain expertise in serving the VAR channel. Assignment: A two person team from Accelent provided strategic advisory services and represented the firm as interim VP of marketing to refine the business plan and model, messaging, positioning, executive summary, and investment pitch to help CEO secure first round funding.

Kirus customers include Jabil Global Services, DecisionOne Corporation, uBid, and Datatech Depot. The company completed its merger with Xelus Corporation in April 2003. Assignment: Interim VP of Marketing full time for eight months to help with business strategy including company positioning, category creation and launch.

Assignment: Multiple consultants supported positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans over a six month period. We also supported the CEO and VP of business development with M and A strategies and worked with the CTO and product marketing group on market validation project to research a new product opportunity. Focused on project scope, questionnaire design, and analysis.

Assignment: Served as Engagement Manager, on behalf of Crimson Consulting, to manage team of researchers to analyze competitive programs and strategies for Financial Management Solutions including vertical and mid-market analysis. Prepared PowerPoint and presented findings and recommendations to PeopleSoft marketing team.

Repositioned and launched company globally and expanded US marketing operations with a focus on strategic planning, brand development, PR and analyst relations, strategic alliances, lead generation and sales support.
